Hitachi Power Europe GmbH (HPE) designs and constructs modern, ecologically sound power plants. The energy plant constructor also supplies key components such as pulverisers, environmental technology, utility steam generators and turbines. Within the globally operating Hitachi Group, which has revenues of approx. US$ 196.4bn and a 360,000 workforce, HPE is responsible for the energy generation markets in Europe, the CIS states, Africa and India.

Our high-tech products contribute to an assured and economical generation of electricity in our target markets. In Germany alone some 40,000 MW and in Europe some 200,000 MW in power plant capacity will be installed by 2020. A major role is being played by Hitachi Power Europe in the modernization of the European power generation system.
